While the process differs for Freshmen, Transfer Students, Graduate Students, etc. all interested students are encouraged to setup an account to receive information about the application process, upcoming events, dates and deadlines, application status and other relevant items.


Undergraduate Students

Upon acceptance to ECU, each student is expected to declare their major within the first two years of attendance. Each undergraduate program within the College of Health and Human Performance has specific requirements for declaring a major. To view the requirements for the program you are interested in please visit HHP’s Undergraduate Programs page and click on the specific degree program.

ECU offers a variety of ways to experience campus whether it is an on-campus visit or tour, virtual information sessions, open house, etc. we have the option of your choosing. Click Here to find the option of your choice.


Graduate Students

To eligible for admissions to a graduate degree program, you must hold a baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting body. Be sure to review the specific program page for exact items and quantity that will need to be submitted.  To view the requirements for the program you are interested in please visit HHP’s Graduate Programs page and click on the specific degree program. All applicants or interested individuals are encouraged to create an ECU Graduate School account to start the process.

After creating your account you can begin the application process. Please note that all applications do require a $75 application fee which is non-refundable.

Informational Campus Tour:

A current graduate student will lead you on a tour of campus and answer your questions about life as a graduate student at ECU. (Although the tour does not visit specific programs, we are happy to put you in contact with your department of interest to answer specific program questions.)
