What are your favorite course(s) you teach?

I love teaching HLTH 3020 to open my student’s eyes to issues of equity in health and think through the challenges of how we can address them.

What is your favorite aspect of working in your department?

It’s fun! I have interesting co-workers who are fun to work with and make me (and my work) smarter.

Describe your current research project:

Right now, I’m working on a project to investigate how to leverage text messages to promote smoking cessation among LGBT people.

Favorite aspect of teaching?

The best part of my job is working with smart, interesting undergraduate students and seeing them graduate and go off get jobs or get into graduate schools.

Outside of work what are your favorite hobbies?

Finding new restaurants in ENC and slowly planting a garden in my new house.
