Tell us about your hobbies and involvement at ECU:
I am a member of ECUs NAACP and Best Buddies Program

What brought you to ECU? 
I am a transfer student and felt ECU had a highly equipped RT program that would advance my future best.

Why do you want to enter the field of recreational therapy? 
I love the idea of uplifting others through creative concepts to positively influence daily lives and RT does it in many ways I tend to enjoy.

Tell us about your upcoming internship or where you hope to intern:
I have hopes to intern at WakeMed and get the exposure of working with all individuals.

What is your favorite aspect of recreational therapy? 
Being able to have a positive influence on others and brightening their day through simple activities.

Tell us about your favorite Rec Therapy course or professor(s)?
My favorite course in Rec Therapy has been Disability & Sport. Learning of different sports and their alterations for individuals was very fun and informative to learn about.

What kind of setting or future job do you hope to have upon graduation?
I hope to work in a hospital setting with all individuals or a behavioral center with children.

Anything else you’d like to share about yourself or your passion for rec therapy?
I am very appreciative of the RT program as it has taught me a lot and increased my passion for sports and caring for others.
