Fall 2017 Commencement
The Fall ECU Commencement Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, December 15th in Minges Coliseum at 10:00 a.m. Degree candidates and faculty who will participate are expected to make a reservation via the ECU Commencement web page. That web page also provides further information about the ECU ceremony.
The College of Health and Human Performance invites graduates, families, and friends to help celebrate the accomplishments of those receiving degrees.
The HHP Graduate Recognition Ceremony will be held at 8:00 pm on Friday, December 15th at Williams Arena in Minges Coliseum. HHP graduates should arrive in regalia and line up by degree and department in the coliseum hallways of Minges no later than 7:30 pm. There will be student and faculty marshals to assist with line-up. Tickets are not required for entrance and ample parking is available at Minges Coliseum.
For family members and friends with disabilities, there are elevators located inside Williams Arena, as well as, ample handicap parking. If you have questions regarding the HHP ceremony, please call 252-328-4630.
A professional photographer will take a picture of each graduate as they cross the stage. Access to photographs after the ceremony will be given by the photographer. Graduates should look for an email and/or packet in the mail from the photographer that contains the access code for the pictures. Make sure that you have updated your mailing address and email addresses in Pirate Port. Please note that it could take up to a month or more to receive the code due to the volume of graduates.
