OHA Affiliates

OHA affiliates work to exchange and integrate discipline-specific knowledge, methods, and resources to achieve our common goal of advancing healthy aging through transdisciplinary research, education, and service-based initiatives. The Office of Healthy Aging (OHA) at East Carolina University currently houses over 25 research affiliates across various departments, schools, and colleges. OHA affiliates collectively work to advance transdisciplinary research, education, and community service initiatives to promote healthy aging. Our affiliates are trained in multiple disciplines which include, but are not limited to: medicine, nursing, kinesiology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nutrition, public health, economics, health education, behavioral and cognitive psychology, sociology, social work, adult education, kinesiology, and music therapy.
