Universal Access Summit – canceled

April 17, 2020

This event has been canceled, following university direction regarding the coronavirus. As a reminder, the ECU coronavirus website is updated regularly to include evolving guidance for the university community.

Join the College of Health and Human Performance for the D4D Universal Access Summit on April 17, 2020.

Our keynote speaker will be Madeline Delp, Ms. Wheelchair USA 2017 and founder of Live Boundless.

As we mark 30 years since the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act, there’s much to celebrate – and more work to be done.

Universal design and access eliminate the physical and communication barriers that prevent people with disabilities from participating fully in community life.

Speakers and research presentations will explore access to higher education, buildings and employment for people with disabilities.
