WITN: Johnson’s insight on teen mental health
A WITN report about teen mental health used portions of an interview with College of Health and Human Performance representative Ashley Johnson for her expertise on the topic. The report, which aired July 10 and the clip is available on WITN’s website, focused on research that shows teen mental health is improving.
Johnson is assistant clinic director at the East Carolina University Family Therapy Clinic.
She discussed on TV some signs to look for with teens and mental health. Johnson also told reporter Celeste Ford that physical activity in teens can boost their mental health.
