IDMR alum link in NYC

The East Carolina University Department of Interior Design and Merchandising had students attend the National Retail Federation: Retail’s Big Show 2024 event held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, Jan. 14-16. The NRF states that this event helps equip attendees with the knowledge and connections to shape the future of retail.

For the ECU students, the experience included connecting with 2020 ECU alum Becca Keller, who is an early talent recruiter for Kohl’s. Keller was presenting at the student NRF career and recruitment fair.

It also was Keller who called student Lucy Maack, who accepted an offer to be an intern of the production team for the Kohl’s early talent program in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
