Students, donors celebrated at scholarship social
The ECU College of Health and Human Performance praised students who earned scholarships for this academic year and thanked donors who support those students and the college during its annual scholarship social Sept. 8.
The event was held inside the Main Campus Student Center and featured an address by Provost Dr. Robin Coger. In all, HHP totaled 109 scholarships equaling $148,000 for the 2022-23 academic year.
A digital program, listing all of the scholarship winners, is available here.
The night featured remarks by 2019 graduate in Sports Studies and former scholarship recipient Ashley Weingartz, and HHP interim dean Dr. Stacey Altman. There also were photo opportunities for all winners and their guests and faculty representatives. Group photos, according to scholarship type and academic unit, are pictured below.
“We gathered to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students and the philanthropic spirit of our scholarship donors and honorees,” Altman said. “We are so proud of our scholarship recipients and how they represent our college. We also have a special group of scholarship donors. This would not be possible without your passion and your support. Thank you to all!”
