KINE claims 3MT Department Cup

The Department of Kinesiology was victorious at the 12th annual Three-Minute Thesis competition.

ECU’s Graduate School hosts the annual event and it was kinesiology that earned the most points this year, claiming the 3MT Department Cup.

KINE had seven presenters: Darius Lawton, Jarah Newton, Siri Pederson, Kaitlin LoVerme, Darius Ragland, Gillian Tiralla, Ace Blalock. Faculty mentors were Drs. Nick Broskey, Bhibha Das, Zachary Domire and Joe Stock.

Programs with three or more participants qualify for the team award. The team with the highest number of total points for its top three individuals wins the team trophy, which kinesiology hoisted thanks to its presentations and points accumulated.

In all, HHP’s entries were in environmental health (1), human development (1), exercise physiology (1), bioenergetics (3) and kinesiology (3).
