Enhance research with HPL, clinical opportunities
The Human Performance Lab in the Ward Sports Medicine Building and the Clinical Research Core Facility, which is located in the Heart Institute, are great resources and available to all ECU faculty, staff and students looking to enhance their research.
The Clinical Research Core Facility specializes in human subject research, facilitating research in a streamlined manner to meet investigator needs:
- Fully-equipped exercise training and testing
- Procedures include resting EKG testing, blood draw, muscle biopsy and more options.
- Private exam rooms
- Processing rooms
- Freezer storage for samples
