HHP Student Spotlight: Mikael Adamson

Mikael recently attended the National Retail Federation Conference where he gained valuable insights from leading retail companies such as PetSmart, Target, and Lululemon. 

Mikael participated in table talks and had the opportunity to network with representatives and hire personnel from companies like Kohls, Belk, and Home Depot, which will benefit his future endeavors of becoming a business owner.

In addition to that, Mikael volunteered at the ECU Career Fair and helped students find professional clothing to wear before entering the fair and for their headshots.

Mikael also works tirelessly in the Interior Design and Merchandising Department to maintain the Professionally Purple Store. This semester, he gave multiple tours of the department to rising freshmen, alumni, and the ECU Women’s Roundtable Group.
