Hobbies/interests: Horseback riding, golf, fishing.
Favorite class: Patient Education.
Favorite place on campus: The mall.
An ECU memory you would like to share: My favorite ECU memory is the home football game when ECU almost beat N.C. State.
Post-graduation plans: Planning to attend medical school with hopes of becoming a surgeon.
From Kristen Martin (Honors College): “Luke is a Brinkley-Lane Scholar and member of the Honors College. During summer 2022, he was a virtual intern in the UNC-CH Department of Neurosurgery and participated in the ECU Brody Summer Biomedical Research Program. For both programs, he worked on research and presented at the end of the summer.
He has served as vice president of member programming and development on ECU’s Interfraternity Council and was one of the founders of ECU’s Kappa Iota chapter of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. One of the large events the fraternity organizes each year is the JDRF One-Walk which raised $50,000 in 2022 and 2023.
