KINE students earn AKA scholar awards

From a process that included East Carolina University faculty who mentored and submitted nomination materials, the American Kinesiology Association’s Scholar Awards at the university level were announced:

• ECU’s AKA Undergraduate Scholar Award recipient is Kendall Nelson
• ECU’s AKA Master’s Level Scholar Award recipient is Stephanie Fuller
• ECU’s AKA Doctoral Level Scholar Award recipient is Filip Jevtovic

Also notable nationally was Fuller earned co-recipient of the 2024 AKA National Master’s Scholar Award.
