HHP trio on recognition list
Tina Marie Devlin (health education and promotion), Megan Williams (health education and promotion) and Dave Kemble (kinesiology) were recognized for their commitment to supporting student success.
A section of the Provost First Monday, March edition, was dedicated to naming faculty who have utilized the ECU CONNECT system at the highest rates this semester. ECU CONNECT is a tool that enables instructors to provide praise or raise concerns regarding their students’ academic performance. Notifications are sent to students via email.
A note in the monthly newsletter included the following statement in addition to a full faculty list with various colleges represented: “They have embraced the role ECU CONNECT plays in supporting student success. Faculty commitment to utilizing ECU CONNECT is instrumental in creating a supportive and engaging environment where every student can thrive. The hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed, and we are immensely proud to have committed faculty as a part of the ECU Connect program.”
