Recap from celebration of racial healing
Groups of students, faculty and staff gathered in the ECU Main Campus Student Center on Tuesday evening for MLK: A Celebration of Racial Healing, hosted by the College of Health and Human Performance, Department of Health Education and Promotion, the Ledonia Wright Cultural Center and the Office for Equity and Diversity.
This was a free event that included plenty of student interaction and conversations. A resource fair featuring various campus representatives was followed by dinner and words by keynote speaker, Kristal Brent Zook.
The National Day of Racial Healing takes place annually the day after Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
